PROBABLE CAUSE OF THE LAS VEGAS MASS SHOOTING:   Hard to believe...   ADULTERY !

 

Again, the surest cause of the #1 biggest mass-shooting in U.S. history is, yes, adultery. Again, it is catastrophic loss of virtue, with corresponding corrosive vice, including habitual adultery, that slowly dissolved away the human, inborn tendency toward love, commitment and empathy. 

Again the nation searches in vain for a "motive", and an explanation, yet police, witnesses, victims, media, and "experts" have no answer, not even a theory! Let's simply look at the facts we DO know, including historical and cultural values of recent generations that helped govern their morals and actions. Let's look at what we know brings us contentment, and look at what we know produces anger and hate, as proven in the social sciences.

The shooter (Stephen Paddock) was 64 years old. We know that no person remains exactly the same as they age. Day by day we "become" a slightly different person as our experiences, knowledge, virtues (good habits) and vices (bad habits), change us. So how do we discover the ideal combination of these, that will allow us to thrive? The human race has struggled with this question for thousands of years, with countless variations of law, and customs governing social conduct, economies, and politics, with unending debates on policies to experimentally employ. In culture after culture, we have seen the acceptance of common recognizable vices that are destructive to both individuals and communities:  excessive PRIDE (arrogance), GREED for wealth, ENVY of other's well-being, revengeful ANGER, LUST (without duty), GLUTTONY (unhealthy excessiveness), and SLOTH (laziness).

The media interviewed Paddock's frustrated brother, who stated passionately:  "You can't tell him anything!"  Was Paddock a man of excessive pride and stubborn arrogance?  He was apparently intelligent enough to often beat the Las Vegas casino world at their own game, leaving labor jobs as he became a wealthy gambler and real estate investor. Were his talents and aptitudes seen by himself as "gifts", tempered with humility and used for upright purposes?  Or was excessive pride the start of his undoing?  Arrogance and insensitivity seems to have been a growing personality trait. And apparent undisciplined lust may have contributed to his two divorces, then his "shacking up" with a casino employee, then (according to news reports) he was regularly hiring prostitutes, and paying extra for allowing him to play out his perverted fantasies of committing acts of violent rape.  Social scientists have observed that the normal reaction to sexual union is the drawing of two people together, igniting fires of mutual commitment, desiring exclusivity with them, and inflaming feelings of warmth, protectiveness, and devotion toward one another  ("coincidentally"?, the perfect setting in which to successfully raise children!)  But we also know that the more that mutual love is violated, the more that relationship becomes cold, and the partners insulated, backing into a shell of emotional protectiveness, which (for some) can become almost impenetrable by others!

This vicious and perverted activity by Paddock almost certainly allowed a downward spiral of anti-social emotions, disgust of others, and self-loathing of even himself , and likely hate and jealousy of others less gifted than himself who dared to show their relatively innocent happiness and gaiety in the public square during a music concert.  So... possibly, rather than the usual acting out of a guilty conscience by someone like ourselves, (verbal abuse, a fight, a drunken binge) his unusual descent into deeper depths of sin took him to an unusually dark and wrenching (almost satanic) point of hateful revenge. A hate of such violent self-loathing that his own self-preservation was only shallowly thought out, because it really didn't matter to him anymore!

The media still searches because they mock Christian scriptures:  that for those who disown our Creator,  they will likewise be disowned by him..  with the consequences of utter failure, self-disgust, and eventual despairing agony.

The most imminent cause of his horrible acts, the biggest mass-shooting in American history, appears to be:  the lust of ADULTERY.

THE ANGELS KNOW OUR WEAKNESSES.  FOR THE SAKE OF JUSTICE TO OUR SWEET JESUS (our Messiah, our Redeemer, our Savior, our King, our "BROTHER", Jesus said!) PRAY TO YOUR ANGEL FOR PROTECTION AND GUIDANCE!
